- Prices ? ($695 - $1200. on average) and we do not charge any sales tax, so our rates are all inclusive

We have not increased our rates for many years and attempt to keep them reasonable. Why ? we are priced "mid market" with a "high level of quality and service" - so we can provide more couples with priceless video memories

- Personal service: we prefer to produce 1 wedding video per weekend. We are not into volume, our focus is your special day

Who are we ?
With over 27 years of experience and over 1000+ satisfied Brides/Grooms, J.V.P. Ltd. is well established and consistently "One of the Top Wedding Video Production companies in Nova Scotia" (since 1985). Our wedding video’s have been featured on Broadcast Television shows around the world.
Our production credits include ATV, ASN, CBC, CTV, BBC, Fox TV USA and other specialty channnels.
During the week, we are busy producing our corporate and commercial productions.

Wedding Video Services:
We offer a wide range of wedding videography services - the most popular being your complete Wedding Ceremony (featuring a professional wireless microphone worn by the Groom for crystal clear sound for your vows) and your Reception Dinner and Dance.
Videography Style:
We prefer to be as unobtrusive as possible but still capture those "Once in a Lifetime" moments. These "special moments" is where our extensive experience shows. Our "documentary" videography style is simliar to watching a movie or television show - not a lot of fancy special effects shots, lots of zoom in and out - just clean and simple. The video tells the story, not the effects.
Let's be honest, almost anyone can operate a video camera. It is very common for couples to have "friend" videotape their wedding day. If the video turns out , that's great - but if it doesn't, those priceless wedding day memories are lost forever. Also the "friend" may have to cancel at the last minute, have technical challenges with equipment and probably not be able to enjoy your day by worrying about recording your video.
A professional wedding video is your "Investment in Your Family Memories". We are also proud of our new "Digital Broadcast Quality Video Equipment" including our Sony HD (High Definition) Professional series- some of the best video camera’s available in the local professional wedding videography industry ! These are not small handheld consumer grade camera's that are very common.

Yes we do offer special discounted rates for smaller weddings and just a few hours of coverage.

Limited Availablity:
We prefer to create only one of these "Priceless Family Video Heirlooms" per weekend - so we highly recommend booking early.

Consultations:
Free personal consultations are available (by appointment only) complete with references and reviewing an actual wedding video - not a short demo/sample of just the best scenes.
We want to make sure we have the exact service you are looking for, and give us a chance to learn your ideas and interests - to make sure we are both "a perfect fit" for your wedding day team.

However, a short "wedding video" demo does not truly represent what any full length wedding video can be. Show a 2 hour wedding video in 3 minutes ? Dont think so...
Yes our demo can show a sample storyline, various lighting conditions, possible camera angles. etc. to give you a basic idea of the possibilities.
Editing packages and styles can vary depending on the couples tastes.
If interested, a personal consultation will show in more detail the potential of your wedding video. Often we are able to present an actual wedding video (we have produced) from their Ceremony or Reception location. Now a couple can truly see what their wedding video could look like. Also this opportunity is ideal to ask questions and exchange ideas specific about your special day.

- One of our increasingly popular services "UpLighting" is now being offered to create that special "atmosphere" lighting that makes our clients events stand out among the rest. Imagine your head table with background splash colors, add a few wall light columns, ceiling lighting (like our "stary nights" effect), a wedding cake spotllight (no heat output so it will not effect your cake), your names and wedding date on a wall (GoBo projection), a 1st Waltz spotlight and much more...

We use "Eco Friendly" LED lighting systems resulting in considerably less power being used and very minimal heat output (very safe for all your guests).
